In Abu Dhabi, Isack took part in a free practice, driving Max Verstappen's Red Bull Formula 1. The Red Bull young driver pipeline counts several renowned talents from F3 and F2, but it was Frenchman Isack Hadjar who was chosen to drive the Dutch champion's car.

On October 29, 2023, the driver who is a member of the Red Bull Junior Team therefore had his very first experience in an F1, as part of an official Grand Prix weekend.

He teams up with his former karting rival Jak Crawford, also a member of the Red Bull Junior Team. At the end of the final round of the year in Abu Dhabi, the driver from the Paris region finished his first season in the championship in fourteenth place with 55 points.

Early years in single-seater

2019: 6th position in the F4 championship, with 1 pole position, and 2nd in the junior category. He also wins the Winfield Trophy on the famous Paul Ricard circuit at only 14 years old.
2020: 3rd place, with 3 wins, 2 pole positions and eleven podiums.
2021: 5th place with 2 wins and 5 podiums. He is also crowned best rookie of the year. During the winter, he drove in F3 to prepare his European season: he participated in the first three races, being five times on the podium in nine races.
